If you're not familiar with the company it began in 1999 to compliment Russell Simmons' Phat Farm Fashions LLC. Together the formerly married duo's luxurious merchandise brands flooded red carpets and urban areas reaching more than $1 billion dollars in sales. In 2004, both lines were acquired by Kellwood Co. for $140 million with Lee Simmons continuing as Creative Director and President. However, in 2010 Kimora Lee decided to stepdown from her roles to pursue outside en devours such as reality show "Life in the Fab Lane".

Almost ten years later, Lee Simmons has repurchased her fashion line. This time around Simmons is receiving additional help from her now college bound daughters, Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons. With their help Baby Phat's vision will translate into the next generation's style choices. The 18 piece collection is available for purchase beginning Summer 2019 for under $30.
